Grandma Hawkins!

My mom called me last Monday and said, "What are you doing on Wednesday? I think I'll come see you". I don't think I've ever heard such good news. We've had a grand old time and now we're sending her back to CA this afternoon. Here's a little of what we've been up to:

I took advantage of Gma's babysitting services while I finished this cougar wear for Grayce that's been on my to-do list for a while.  Originally it was going to be a romper, but the thought of adding fasteners seemed too daunting so I chopped it off into a tee.  Then putting sleeves on was annoying, so I settled for a ruffle.  Basically I'm a super impatient seamstress.  But Grayce girl doesn't mind.  Now that she's got her team spirit maybe we can win a game. 

This scrumptious one got two teeth this week with hardly a complaint.  Such a sweetie pie. 

She also ravaged every piece of food we gave her at the restaurant last night.  She finished off her own dinner pretty fast so we started giving her things to keep her happy while we ate and she chewed on a pickle, a lemon slice, and had some hummus and was still searching for more.  What a piglet.
