lately

We've moved! To Richmond, Virginia. We've been here for a week and love it so far. It's cooling down (or maybe it has just been a cooler week) and we have a fabulous ward and neighbors. Plus we have new carpet and a new dishwasher and lots of closet space. And we're in the same ward as the Pericles. What's not to like?
Matt has been going to orientation for school, which starts on Monday. We're learning how to get around and are almost done unpacking. Tom had another trip to the doctor and it turns out he had pneumonia. We had a really unpleasant time at the clinic (it wasn't really the pneumonia that was the problem, but the incompetent nurses) but he's feeling much better now and has been SO happy the past few days. He laughs at anything.

We stayed at Adam and Julie's the night we moved out of our apartment. Thanks guys!

And thanks to Al for letting Tom and I stay for a few days while Matt and Dave made the looong drive.

AND thanks to the Pericles for housing and feeding us until we were able to move into our new place.

He was so precious in his gown. This is after the x rays and before the nasty IV incident.

So far he's tried sweet potatoes, rice cereal, and peas. He's more interested in gagging himself with the spoon, but is getting the hang of it.
