look what we found!

Blueberries usually aren't my fruit of choice, but they were on sale at the sunflower market and I could hear my mother's voice saying, "they're a top ten food! full of antioxidants!". Plus, everyone was buying them. They were plump and delicious! Best blueberries I've ever had.

So we made these scrumptious pancakes this morning. I'm trying to cut back on carbs at dinnertime, so I cram in as many as I can in the morning:)
Normally it's against my policy to omit carbs from my diet, but I've started working out with some ladies in our ward and the girl who leads insists that if we stop eating carbs after 3 pm, our lives will be much better. And I admit, the days when I'm obedient I do see a difference in the morning. I am getting whipped into shape bigtime. The first day we did more lunges than a person should ever do, and I hobbled around like a grandma for the next three days. I'm proud to say that we did them again last night and I have full use of my legs. Now I'm off again for more. Tonight is abs--not my strong point.

  1. Very very nice.

    1. The rules: no running, keep snacks on hand at all times, more protein, eat right before bed. I have to be 120 by the wedding.
    2. You can have late night cereal any old time. 11:30 is usually a good time.
    3. I wasn't feeling morningish. But I did go to the dentist at 8 and I have to cavities.
    4. I will show my face, and my man, just after this weekend:)

  2. Sunflower Market has some great deals on nice produce. The pancakes look great. Sounds like you are getting a serious workout! It's always better to do it in a group!

  3. Alli - running is good - you just have to eat more. Ness - impressive - the pancakes and the exercise.
