June

Seems like we need to catch up on here. Here's what we've been doing:
Tom played at his friend Baylor's house while I got my hair cut.

Tommy got his first knee bandaid. Plus lots of other bumps and bruises, including a lump on his head from when he pulled our dresser on top of himself.

We played outside lots with his girlfriend Kara.

We went to Luray Caverns with our friends, the Hinrichs.
Awesome photos courtesy of Alicia:)

We watched a show with our other neighbors while their Mommy was having a baby.

Met Daddy downtown for lunch. This is in front of the Grant building where he has all his classes.

Played in the rain!

Learned lots of new words.

Matt replaced the radiator on the Blazer. It was super hot when he started-that's why he's got a wet rag over his head. Wade came to help later.

We went to Outer Banks with some of the Johnstons and listened to some sweet music from these dudes while we ate our fish and chips. I didn't come away with many pictures, but it was super fun! We swam, ate, swam, went on a ferry, saw some lighthouses, swam, built sandcastles, and hung out with lots of cousins.
Tom got pushed around by his cousin Beau.

Tom's first movie theater experience! Well, aside from sleeping through True Grit in his car seat in Canada over Christmas. We saw Cars 2, and he did pretty well. He sat still for the racing parts, but once I took him out to change him he realized he could go in and out, so we spent the rest of the movie doing that.

We went to DC for the 4th and saw a lovely fireworks show and had ice cream after with G&G Johnston and Aunt Megs.
